Layout – Grids – Storyline

After doing research on different infographics something we decided we definitely wanted to include was some sort of storyline/guide for the way the audience looked at the piece.

I came up with some  grids that I knew already and thought about how we might use these to create our final p
iece.

Something I am quite fond of using in design is the fibonacci spiral mainly because I feel has a great and more creative way and drawing the eye around the page and also gives you the opportunity to use different layouts appose to just a hierarchy stack of text.
This is also were we wanted to decide upon the if we wanted something portrait or landscape, As something we wanted to focus on was the layout of the design and the way that the audience read it we personally thought that a portrait page was easier to read to that a landscape as your eye read top to bottom and also for a fold up poster we felt this worked nicely as it would unfold from one corner of the poster.

The rule of thirds is also a brilliant way to layout your work especially when it comes to something that is for a work place, We felt as if because this brief was for a creative yet corporate audience, because it was for designers and creatives we thought it may be a good idea to use brilliant, fashionable and modern design but with a sleek and modern layout to insure they are attracted by the poster to read it.
